Aztec’s Behavior Based Safety Program

Key Elements include:
• Total employee involvement and peer support
• Identification of critical behaviors.
• Immediate feedback on high and low risk
• Removing barriers to improve safety

Aztec uses the ABC Job Analysis to investigate potential risky behavior.

• The "A" refers to the antecedent, or the event or activity that immediately precedes a problem behavior.
• The "B" refers to observed behavior
• The "C" refers to the consequence, or the result of the behavior.
