From Start To Success
Aztec was founded in 1981 by Sherra Aguirre who wanted to provide consistently excellent janitorial services for clients.
In 1988, Aztec’s management team decided to market their services to large, complex facilities whose facility managers had responsibility for the quality of their work environment and its impact
on the safety and productivity of their company’s workforce — encompassing values that were
essential to Aztec.
In 1995, Aztec decided to go where no U.S. based service firm in its industry had gone before. Aztec became the first facility services provider in the U.S. to achieve ISO 9002 — the internationally accepted standard for a quality management system in a service environment. Aztec converted to and has maintained ISO 9001 certification, consistently providing its quality assurance benefits to global clients.
Today, Aztec manages facility services for corporate, industrial, healthcare and government clients in the United States. Aztec monitors trends in sustainability, technology, quality and productivity to deliver on our promise to remain a leader in the facility services industry.
